The Process

From drawing set
to compliance report
in minutes

Lodgely works like a highly thorough pre-flight check — catching the issues that cause permit delays before your drawings ever leave your desk.

01

Upload your
drawing set

Submit your complete architectural drawing set as a PDF. For the most thorough review, include your site plan, floor plans, all elevations, and sections.

You don't need to label or annotate anything specially — our AI reads your drawings as-is.

  • PDF format supported
  • DWG and IFC support coming soon
  • Multiple files can be combined into a single set
  • No file preparation or annotation required

Upload your planning
documents &
project address

Enter the project address and upload three things alongside your drawing set:

  • VicPlan planning certificate — identifies the zone and overlays that apply to the site. Export it free from VicPlan in a couple of minutes.
  • Zone schedule PDF — the specific schedule for your zone (e.g. GRZ Schedule 1). Download it from Planning Schemes Online.
  • Overlay schedule PDF(s) — the council-specific schedule for each overlay that applies (e.g. NCO Schedule 3, VPO Schedule 1). Also available on Planning Schemes Online.

Lodgely reads all uploaded documents directly — applying the exact current provisions to your review, not approximations. All documents are free to download from Victorian Government sources.

28hrs

Average time saved per project across compliance checking, surveyor back-and-forth, and resubmission rounds.
